Manzanita CrossCheck uniquely combines the fastest and most rigorous verification of transport stream files in a cost-effective solution. Operations staff can quickly check for compliance with industry standards and custom specifications. Technical staff can review additional reports that provide in-depth insights into the details of the errors and warnings encountered.
- CableLabs SD and HD Default configurations included.
- Configurations can be copied, customized, and saved.
- Configuration editor provides control over 700 checks.
- Severity level of checks can be set to errors or warnings.
- Reporting of individual error and warning types may be enabled or suppressed.
- Thresholds may be set to abort analysis when the specified Abort Limit for total errors and warnings is reached.
- Watch Folder automatically verifies assets, quarantines bad files, and generates reports in XML, HTML, or text format.
- Optional Web Services interface provides tighter integration for production and distribution workflows.
Supports MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-2 4:2:2 format, MPEG-2 multi-view profile and H.264 / AVC / MPEG-4 part 10 video elementary streams.
Supports MPEG (Layers I, II, and III), AC-3, Enhanced AC-3 (E-AC-3), and Advanced Audio Coding (AAC).
- Checks video format, profile, level, aspect ratio, frame rate, vertical size, horizontal size, display horizontal size, display vertical size, progressive sequence, chroma format, GOP length, and decode delay in all supported types of video elementary streams.
- Checks black leader, black trailer, black frames, freeze frames, blockiness, black bars, luma, chroma, computed aspect ratio in all supported types of video elementary streams except H.264 video.
- Checks for the presence of closed caption data in different fields and channels within SD & HD content (CEA 708, CEA-608, SCTE-20).
- Checks for the presence of XDS data and verifies program ratings information.
- Checks for the presence of AFD (Active Format Descriptor) data and verifies its values against the configuration.
- Other video program stream checks: PID value, packet interval, PID spacing, packet rate, payload rate, stream ID, stream type (MPEG1, MPEG2, AVC, DCII, VC1), and alternate stream type.
- Checks audio format, sample rate, frame size, number of blocks, dial norm, channel mode, number of channels, channel id, bits per sample, bit rate, tone check, level, mute, dial norm.
- Other audio program checks: PID value, packet interval, PID spacing, packet rate, payload rate, stream ID, stream type (MPEG1, MPEG2, PRIV, AAC, AUD14496, ATSCAC3), and alternate stream type.
- Verifies time stamps (PTS and DTS) for all audio and video access units.
- Verifies continuity counter on all transport packets.
- Performs PCR jitter analysis.
- Determines frequency of PCR and PTS coding.
- Verifies syntax of the PSI (PAT, PMT, and CAT).
- Correlates PSI contents with transport stream composition.
- Checks CRCs on PSI, SI, and private sections.
- Verifies PMT PID streams, audio elementary streams, and video elementary streams for compliance with the appropriate buffer models.
