Solutions - Military & Defense Contractors

Manzanita supports KLV metadata in their enhanced TS multiplexer (MP2TSME) and Transport Stream Analyzer (TSA) products. Government military branches and defense contractors can use Manzanita's enhanced transport stream multiplexer to extract, edit and reinsert KLV metadata that is embedded in surveillance content recorded by Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (i.e. UAVs or drones). The Transport Stream Analyzer (TSA) detects KLV metadata in transport stream files and can verify the syntax of the KLV header information and the KLV buffer.

KLV Metadata Support
  • Analyze surveillance content for MPEG compliance, and verify KLV metadata presence and syntax using the MPEG-2 Transport Stream Analyzer.
  • Extract KLV metadata, including any timing information and binary data, and save it in an XML format for editing using the Enhanced MPEG-2 Transport Stream Multiplexer (MP2TSME).
  • Multiplex video elementary streams and synchronous or asynchronous KLV metadata and output an MPEG-compliant transport stream file using MP2TSME.
  • Create transport streams of varying characteristics to test and debug systems and equipment under normal and error conditions using MP2TSME.
